Ep. 140: Cliffhanger!

It was the biggest cliffhanger in history … if only they had known it at the time. Jesus had died. How was this possible? After all they had been through. Could this really be happening. It was finished … or was it?

Of course, we now live in the light of the full story, we are not left on a cliffhanger, but we can imagine the utter despair of his disciples at this time. Do we live our lives in this knowledge? The disciples at that time were a defeated people. Are we defeated too? Sometimes, when I look at the state of the Church today it seems so. Let’s live our lives in the knowledge of the full story, and not just hanging helplessly off that cliff!
