Ep. 128: Confession

LUKE 22:67-71

So Jesus made his confession before the elders of his people. He confessed exactly who he was in the most specific of terms, knowing that the outcome would be his death.

What an example! Could we confess our belief in Jesus knowing that the outcome is a final one. Many have done through the ages and no doubt are still doing so in countries where persecution of Christians is serious. Perhaps one day we will be called to such a thing. In the meantime there will be times where we are going to make a stand. Pray for courage, even in the small things.
