Such a shameful episode, the guards mocking and striking Jesus. If only they knew who they were doing this to! Sometimes our unwise actions can come back to haunt us one day. Perhaps something comes to mind in your life now, something you did, maybe even before you were a believer, something that you wish you didn’t do and that is perhaps still unresolved. If so, how about resolving it now, even if just in prayer to God?!
