MATTHEW 25:1-13

‘Keep watch because no-one knows the day or the hour’.

How fitting, especially considering the day that we are living in. Never before can this warning have so much meaning. Events are cascading into view, there is scarcely time to breathe and take things in before something else happens! In a rudderless world we have a sacred duty as watchmen. We have a responsibility not just to keep our own wicks dry but to warn others around us. Not to panic people but to exercise sober judgement in how we interpret events. Be wise, above all.
