MATTHEW 21:33-46, MARK 12:1-12, LUKE 20:9-19

The parable of the Tenants should be a real warning to us. In this story God trusted a group of people who then betrayed him, even to the extent of killing his son, in order to snatch his inheritance. They sealed their fate as they were caught out and brought to a wretched end. The Jewish leaders knew that he was talking about them and started plotting to arrest him.

So, what do we learn? Make sure your fruit is good, otherwise God can look elsewhere. He is all-seeing and all-knowing, he misses nothing. If you are currently giving him less than he deserves, then … be warned!
