Ep. 98: Hypocrites!

MATTHEW 23

In this passage, Jesus gives it to the Pharisees and the teachers, with all guns blazing. This was not Jesus meek and mild, this was true, justified righteous indignation. He did not hold back with seven areas of hypocrisy they were exhibiting.

Hypocrisy? Surely not in these days? Where do I actually start? What would Jesus say to our current day ‘professional’ clergy? Probably a lot, but also probably not to everyone. If you are in the ministry perhaps this is a good time to examine yourself – would Jesus consider you an approved servant, functioning according to the original vision he once put in your heart?
