So the Sadducees tried to trap Jesus and got a well-earned rebuke for their troubles, accused for knowing neither their Scriptures nor their God.

How many people try to trap us with clever arguments in the same way and, by doing so, also show their ignorance of Scriptures and God Himself? We can also get this from other Christians, who may disagree with us over a hot topic, such as Israel and the Jews. Our job is to stand for the truth and, as long as we know our Bibles and have a healthy relationship with God, then let them try! The truth will always prevail … though they may not always admit to this!
