So they tried to trap him with the coin trick. Jesus, of course, turned it around and trapped them instead, rendering them speechless. They left him and went away. It must have been some rebuke!

Oh that we can be just as clever when people try to trap us. So, what about Cain’s wife, eh? Of course God may give you wisdom to respond to such things, but if he doesn’t, we are not to panic. The worst thing we can do is waffle. If no wisdom is present, the best is to stay silent. You will get your moment … at the time of His choosing.
