It was the greatest comeback in history. Jesus returning from the dead in person and in a body capable of eating a piece of fish in front of his grieving, confused and astounded friends.

Those disciples had it all really. Unlike us, their faith levels were bolstered to the nth degree by the fact that they physically experienced his resurrection (and later his ascension). This enabled them to do wonderful deeds and make the extreme sacrifice. Although some of us have had divine encounters in various degrees, we don’t have the luxury of supping with him. That’s where our faith kicks in, to act as if he had supped with us. The more faith we have, the more we can do for him. Let’s strive to go deeper into faith, then see what the Lord can do with us.
