MATTHEW 27:62-66

Did Pilate really believe that the purposes of God can be thwarted by placing a guard at the tomb, to make sure that Jesus’ body would remain within? God must laugh at us if we can believe that we can stop Him from carrying out His plans, through our futile efforts.

We must make sure that we are on the right side. If we can sense God moving then we must make sure that we don’t get in the way or, more importantly, act against this because of our own human failings.
