Barabbas was a popularist leader. Forget that he was probably a killer and a thoroughly bad person, he was the one they wanted to release. These days our popular leaders tend to be utter scoundrels, yet we follow them or vote for them or allow them to be our influencers. Yet when push comes to shove they will let you down and follow their own agenda. Be careful who you follow in this uncertain world. There is only one that will never let you down. Don’t vote for Barabbas, choose Jesus!
