LUKE 22:14-16

Jesus knew that it was truly his Last Supper and that suffering lay ahead for him. Can you imagine that? Having a meal knowing it would be your last with many horrors to follow. What a man! What a Saviour! It makes any sacrifices we make diminish into nothingness by comparison. Perhaps God is reminding you of something unpleasant for you lying in wait for you to endure. If so, remember what Jesus endured and use this thought as a point of contact with him, as an identification with the sufferings of your Saviour.
