No, I have no idea why Judas did what he did, perhaps we’ll never know his true intentions. Instead we take him as a warning – actions have consequences.

There may be Judas’s lurking in your life – people, purposely or inadvertently – creating havoc in your life. Sometimes the enemy does send us people to oppose us, or just to deflect us or confuse us. Sometimes we feel that it is right to engage with these people, perhaps out of the goodness of your heart. Create a hedge of prayer around yourself and ask for discernment – our time on earth is too precious to be led away from God’s plan for us!
