This is the story of the miraculous haul of fish, 153 in all, at Jesus’ command. He was still proving himself with miracles, even at this late event, the third time he had appeared to his disciples after his resurrection. They still needed convincing. Then Simon Peter was re-instated and all was now set up for the tasks they would all need to perform, to help usher in the Kingdom of Heaven. They were now ready. Difficult times are coming. Are we all ready? Am I ready?
